Your 20 Minute Guide to Get The Best Sleep of Your Life

Welcome back, to the Jordan sister podcast blog. Yes, it’s the Jordan sister podcast now, Sugar coated is no longer with us.

From one sister to another, we wanted to share some of the main tips & tricks to get the best sleep of your life.

First things first, no caffeine after 1 pm

Number two. Keep both your body and mind active throughout the day. Abby and I always sleep better when we make movement a priority. So, when10 p.m. rolls around, we are naturally hitting the sheets for a restful sleep.

We are eating dinner at least 2-3 hours before bed every chance we get. Digesting dinner while trying to go to bed will disrupt your beauty rest, so if you aren’t already doing this, plan your meals just a little bit earlier for a digested sleep.

Turn your phone off 15-30 minutes before bed. I will admit, I don’t follow this rule because I love a good TikTok scroll before bed. However, I am using blue light glasses to mitigate the effects ;) Abby on the other hand… follows this religiously. If your brain is always on (like Abby’s), we highly suggest implementing this habit into your nighttime routine.

Nothing Abby and I love more than crawling into bed and putting our sleep masks on. We love our Blissy silk sleep masks to darken my surrounds and get a better sleep. We never miss a night without wearing our masks.

We got Hatches this past Christmas and it has been one of the best gifts to ever receive. We turn our white noise setting on to fall asleep and are waking up to the sunrise and a nervous system calming sound.

Tea will always be our favourite night cap. Abby and I love the traditional medicine peppermint tea or any Yogi digestion teas.

Jordan Sister Nighttime supplements to help with sleep:

Cymbiotika Magnesium Liposomal

Moon Juice

Lemme Sleeps

And with that, we hope you get the best sleep of your life after reading this.
