2025 Trends: Fashion, Wellness & Our Unfiltered Opinions

Timeless or Trendy: 2025 Trends, take it or leave it?

The Jordan sisters are together again and thriving. We are getting into 2025 up and coming trends, from fashion to wellness we are covering it all. Timeless or trendy fads? We are breaking down the trends that are surfacing and whether or not we are hopping on or not to these timeless or trendy fads.

Fashion Trends

Fringes

Fringes, seeing these on bags, jackets and even skirts. I can already picture Zara’s next collection having a fringe on every other piece of clothing. Designers have taken the “Western” trend and spiced it u with the fringe look. Abby and I have mixed feeling about this one, we both agree there’s a time and a place. I have to say, Zara fringes are giving cheugy but if you’re getting a jacket with fringes from Ba&sh I think it could be a statement. Overall, its trendier than it is timeless, and I don’t think fringes are here to stay.

The Fisherman & Nautical Look

Boat shoes might be making a comeback and I’m here for this one. I used to LOVE my Sperry’s, but I love the look of a guy in them more. Abby never thought she would need her boat shoes and hunter boots again, but I must’ve had a feeling they’d come back. So yes, I am pulling these back out of my closet and hopping on this trend. Abby says she’s skeptical, but I would say there’s a time and a place for these pieces. Summer on the docks hates to see my Sperry’s coming. But please, don’t pull out your Hunter boots for a day in downtown Toronto, just because they are a trend again.

So, is it in or out? In.

Bag Charms

I just recently got a bag charm from Coach over the Christmas break, and it is so freaking cute. I love a cute bag charm to add a fun edge to your bag and spice up the outfit. Abby and I agree these are in!

Plaid

We are seeing plaid making a comeback, from inside of the jackets and your classic vintage flannel. We are so here for this one, digging into our home town closets and pulling out our flannels to pair with a cute pair of jeans and tecovas (Erika) or fryes (abby) .

Suede & Matching Sets

I love this one, and I would say these are timeless. Walk into a Zara, or the streets of Europe, we are seeing suede everywhere. Not only suede pieces but the matching sets. I have my eyes set on a suede short & jacket set from Zadig and Voltaire. On that note, matching sets seem to be everywhere, from suede, to denim and leather. This is a priority on Abby & I’s shopping list, we are on the hunt for a chic and affordable set.

Wellness Trends

Raw Milk. It’s been a hot topic. While we were “those girls” who had eliminated dairy from their diets. The reason we had done so is because it seemed to be harder to digest. The issue was because most of the dairy we were consuming has gone through pasteurization. The process of heating milk to a high enough temperature for a set period to kill potentially harmful microorganisms. This process however is destroying enzymes, probiotics, and vitamins, altering healthy fats, proteins and finally inhibiting the calcium. These ingredients in raw milk are all active. Raw farms USA has a great breakdown of the info and an incredible reference.

So most of us don’t have access to raw milk, what do you do then? Find full fat milk, unhomogenized. The closest you can get to the most “natural” state of dairy. Buffalo’s milk is also a great source for reintroducing dairy into your diet and easy to digest.

IV’s

There is so much buzz around getting IV’s, especially after drinking or flying. For those who don’t know the benefits of an IV is the nutrients is getting absorbed directly into the bloodstream, surpassing the digestions system unlike taking vitamins through a capsule form.  Speaking from experience they work. Our only hesitation is the cost. It isn’t cheap to get an IV and at this point in our lives, IV’s are a “treat” rather than a weekly visit… but eventually ;)

Oura ring, worth the hype?

Overall, yea its worth the hype. We love the look and prefer a ring overall purchasing a watch. Ever since getting our Oura ring, Abby and I have been able to tap into improving sleep, cycle syncing, managing stress and having a pulse on your overall health. Be warned however, you do have a monthly fee of around $7 to access the data from your ring.

Strength Training

A hot trend right now is strength training. My take on this, do the workouts that your genuinely enjoy and can be the most present in. For Abby, strength training has been essential in her weekly schedule because of the way that it makes her feel.  Don’t be fooled by the social media trends that strength training will help you lose those 20 pounds. There is so much more to this including diet, stress, and being in tune with yourself. We love this trend but Abby and I both want to say, do it for the right reasons.

Eating Steak (and choosing grass fed & organic)

Eating meat has become a trend. When Abby and I went on animal based, we noticed a huge difference in our energy levels, reduced bloating, and satiation. We love the beef trend!!
