Jordan Sisters Q&A: Personality Breakdown, From Our Favourite Designers to Daily Habits

It’s a Q&A week. Get to know Abby & I, how we are navigating wellness, and having fun with these questions.

Who is your favourite Influencer?
Abby’s all-time favourite, the face of The Skinny Confidential, Lauryn Bostick. She’s the definition a girl boss, and a wellness girl to the core. She has literally found every way to level up and hack her life.

My favourite influencer, Paige Lorenze. I absolutely love her vibe, her brand, and lifestyle. She’s made it possible to be a true country girl and a content creator. I love her cooking vibe and her content with her boyfriend.

Other favs of ours: Meccah Wright, Maggie Macdonald, Emma Leger, Ella Rose, Alyssa Lynch

What is a non-negotiable in your daily routine?

I love this one, and my answer is, movement! Walking is extremely underrated. Simply find movement as much as you can throughout your day.

Abby agrees with me of having movement as a non-negotiable. She also swears by daily meditation & breathwork.

What’s a wellness lesson you learnt the hard way?

Whether its competing in sports or daily with drinking & eating habits, the more pressure I put on myself, the moreI get in my head - and the outcome usually ends up reflecting that negatively.

While still working on figuring this out myself, being present and allowing myself to enjoy the process rather than just fixating on the outcome can truly transform my performance and experience. My bossiest piece of advice: Take a step back, don’t force things. Work hard, but let life flow.

Abby’s lesson: Listen to your body. Abby learnt this the hard way after pushing herself through injuries because of having the mindset of “having to workout out”. She stepped away from the idea of “having to” and listening to what her body needs. Trust us with this piece of advice, you will see better results when you are in a positive physical and mental state.

Bonus lesson: Pleaseee stop comparing yourself to the girls on Social Media, it’s all a highlight reel.

How do you get back on track after falling off your routine?

Don’t go zero to one hundred! We all have our moments when we realize we have fallen out of & need to get back into routine. When this happens for us, making small steps towards our goals sets us up for success and consistency. For those who are trying to escape the cycle of over drinking & going out every weekend, don’t start a month restriction of no alcohol tomorrow. Likely you’re going to go right back into the toxic cycle of indulgence and restriction. Set realistic habits to set yourself up to be consistent with your goals. Next time you go for drinks, maybe just have one or two and call it a night.

How would you describe each other in 3 words?

I would describe Abby as being fiery, excited, and a fashionista (to say the least). If you have been with us since the beginning, no explanation needed she has displayed all of these traits through our episodes.

Abby describes me as free-spirited, stubborn (till the day I die), and active. If you know, you know…

Who is your favourite designer? Well, we have a quite a few.

Dior – basic we know, but how can you not love Dior. Abby has her eyes on the saddle bag, and we love their friendship bracelets.

Hermes – so chic, I want their classic sandals and a Birkin (when I’m 40)

Chanel – a classic. There loafers are perfection.

Zadig & Voltaire – I want everything from here, they are cute & edgy.

You can only eat one fruit, vegetable, and protein for the rest of your life, what are you choosing?

Mine, pineapple, carrots, and steak

Abby, sub the pineapple, carrots, steak

You could only order one type of drink (alcoholic) for the rest of your life?

Both of us are sharing a bottle of Chardonnay. Enough said.
