Propaganda’s We Are/ Aren’t Falling For
We are NOT falling for
For the TikTok lovers, we hopped on the trend… The “Propaganda’s” we are and aren’t falling for.
Hot take to kick things off, not falling for Mel Robbins.I know she’s everywhere right now, but truthfully Abby and I are just not a fan.Something about the way she speaks to her audience on her podcast doesn’t sit right with me, it feels a bit condescending at times. And while she’s clearly built a huge following, we think she’s a bit overhyped.
Propaganda two: Fake tans. All the chemicals to get an orangey tan? Its a no for us. It’s giving 2012, I’d rather be pale and toxin-free, thanks.
Don’t get us wrong we love our protein. But when it comes to protein desserts? We’re not falling for it. We’ve always got a sweet tooth after dinner, but we’re reaching for a medjool date or a square of dark chocolate over some overcomplicated, protein “treat.” We’re here for dessert and whole foods, not science experiments. Protein can come from my steak, thanks.
Propaganda three we aren’t falling for, counting macros. Abby and I are both guilty of going through the macro-counting phase. Now, we’re channelling intuitive eating and no restriction. Life’s too short to weigh your blueberries. And seriously who has time to log every gram of food consumed?
This one’s for the girls stuck wondering whether to text or wait. We’re not falling for the “he’ll reach out if he’s interested” mindset. Here’s the thing, most guys don’t love having to initiate everything, and it’s okay to make the first move. But there’s a fine line. Abby and I live by the rule of three: if you’ve initiated plans three times and he’s not matching your energy, it’s either his turn… or time to let him go. If he’s never trying, he’s not the one.
Propaganda six: Godard tote bags. We aren’t falling into the trap of big spending for the short term trend. Let’s face it, the pattern isn’t cute and they’re already on their way out. Timeless > Trendy!!
We’re not falling for the quick-fix hype around GLP-1s and trendy weight loss programs. Real results come from movement, nourishing your body with whole foods, and taking care of your mind just as much as your body. No shortcuts, just self-respect.
Farms > Big Pharma! (We aren’t falling for big Pharma)
We’re not falling for diet cokes. If I’m reaching for a drink, it’s going to be a dirty martini or a mocktail with just a touch of real sugar, not a soda packed with 10 fake sweeteners that wreck your gut health. Plus, diet cokes have become such a thing, and honestly? I don’t want to be that girl.
Lets talking FALLING for…
Okay, we’re all in on hot Pilates. Sweating it out feels so detoxifying, and pairing movement with heat is seriously the secret to looking and feeling your best.
With summer here, we’ve swapped out morning bone broth for celery juice and we’re loving it. It’s super hydrating, packed with antioxidants, and great for reducing inflammation.Celery juice supports digestion by activating proteins and acids in the gut and promoting healthy gut bacteria. We are obsessed!
Contrast therapy has been a total game-changer for us, both mentally and physically. Jordan sister tip: women tend to hold onto more toxins than men, so doing contrast therapy 3–4 times a week is incredibly beneficial for overall health and wellness. It’s all about flushing toxins, boosting circulation, and resetting your body and mind.
Raw Honey, Raw Milk, Raw Cheese… Raw Everything! We’re only consuming raw products to avoid all the unnecessary modifications. Our go-to source; Lineage raw honey, hands down the best on the market. We literally eat spoonfuls of this stuff every day. Use code XXX for X% off.
We’re not ashamed to admit it… We will always fall for botox. Simply because Abby and I just don’t want wrinkles. Botox will always serve as long as you don’t overdue it.
And last but not least, Cowboys & farmers. It’s an obsession and when a cowboy stumbles upon me, I am absolutely falling for him.
