Jordan Sisters in the Kitchen

Sundays are our favorite days because nothing is more therapeutic than putting on some music and making your food with love. As we prep our dinner, we also use this time to prep some of our favorite things for the week.

Here are some of our Sunday prep obsessions:

  • Jordan’s Homemade Hummus – great for when you want a satisfying snack or to spice up your salad

  • Jordan Homemade Nutmilk

  • Eat YOUR vegetables. The Jordan sisters love to cut up a head of broccoli or cauliflower to roast in the oven. This is perfect for adding to your lunches or dinners throughout the week.

  • Prioritize your protein. We always add in a few extra servings of protein while making dinner to set our lunches up for the week.

  • Fruit for the sweet tooth. The Jordan sister’s current obsession is to cut up a pineapple for the week. It’s the perfect sweetness to end off your meal.

The Jordan sisters’ favorite meals lately:

Breakfast

  • Soft boiled eggs and sourdough toast.

  • Hard boiled eggs, apple and almond butter (perfect for on the go)

Lunch/ Dinner

  • Beef, peas, rice and sunflower sprouts.

  • Steak tacos – Cassava flour wraps, sprouts, pickled cabbage, the secret sauce(handful of cashews and cilantro, 1 jalapeno, little bit of honey, dash of water and blend to taste)

KEY takeaways from this episode:

  • Make meals that are satisfying to you – add a fun sauce

  • Fantasize the day: pour yourself a fun drink while you’re prepping and put on some music

  • BABY STEPS – small change is better than no change, but you have to start somewhere ;)
